Heart of MusicThe Artist

Keshav Parvathaneni

Music has always been the place I go to tell the truth.

The Story

Where it started.

I didn't set out to be a musician. I set out to understand myself — and music was the only language that felt honest enough. The first songs I wrote were never meant to be heard. They were just the things I couldn't say out loud.

Heart of Music started as a private project — late nights, a cheap microphone, and a lot of unfinished ideas. Over time, the songs got better. More importantly, they got more true. And eventually, keeping them to myself felt like the wrong choice.

I'm Keshav Parvathaneni — and this is the music I had to make. I hope it finds you at the right moment.

The Process

How the music gets made.

01

The Feeling First

Every song starts with something I can't shake — an emotion, a memory, a question I don't have an answer to yet. I don't start with a chord progression. I start with a feeling.

02

Words Before Music

I write the words first, almost always. Lyrics that feel like journal entries — specific, honest, and a little uncomfortable. The melody comes after, shaped by the rhythm of the words.

03

Stripping It Back

My instinct is always to add more. The discipline is in taking things away. The best moments in my songs are usually the quietest ones — where there's space for the listener to bring something of their own.

The music is the best introduction.

If you want to know who I am, listen to the songs. Everything I couldn't say any other way is in there.
